A document proving the payment of the filing fee or providing the grounds for exemption from the payment of the fee or for reduction in the fee must be furnished with the application.
If an application is filed through the intermediary of a representative of the applicant, a power of attorney attesting to the powers of the representative must be furnished with the application. 
An applicant who wishes to claim a priority right must file with the State Patent Office of Ukraine a statement claiming the priority of an earlier application which must state its filing date and number, and attach a copy of the earlier application and its translation into the Ukrainian language certified in the prescribed manner.
